FAQs

Short answers to common questions.

What is Ummidi?

Ummidi is a CLI harness that creates AI agents inside your terminal. You run them solo or as a team; your keys and data stay on your server.

Where do my API keys live?

On your machine. Nothing is sent through a hosted intermediate — agents call your provider credentials directly from your shell.

Do I need a browser?

No. Everything runs from your terminal with one binary — no chat UI, no browser extensions, nothing extra to install.

How is it different from hosted agents?

Hosted agents charge per seat and keep your prompts as a liability. Ummidi runs on your infrastructure with a simple plan per agent — no seat tax, no black box, every run auditable.

Which platforms are supported?

Linux, macOS and Windows. One-line installers are available for Unix-like systems and PowerShell.

What do the plans include?

Free covers core features and up to 3 projects; Pro adds unlimited projects and email support; Max adds SSO, priority support and SLA onboarding. See the pricing for the full comparison.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month; cancel whenever you like and keep your agents until the end of the billing period.
